Prior to retirement in 2006, DEA Supervisory Special Agent
Timothy Sellers initiated an investigation that led to the arrest of fourteen
Hizb-I Islam Gulbidden and Taliban terrorists, including the leader, who
claimed responsibility for the homicide bombing and murder of five Afghanistan
National Directorate of Security agents in early 2004. He prevented a
planned attack on U.S. and NATO forces by tackling an armed homicide bomber as
he was boarding a bus loaded with innocent Afghans, blocks from US and NATO
military headquarters, the Presidential Palace, and the American Embassy.
Tim worked 33
years in the state of Texas, serving as an El Paso police officer, and as a
Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and
the Drug Enforcement Administration. During his Texas assignments, he
worked extensively in undercover assignments to penetrate and dismantle
large-scale Mexican trafficking organizations.
He appeared on Hannity and
Colmes, Fox News Network in 2007 and the Dylan Ratigan’s Morning Meeting Show
on MSNBC in 2010. He presently travels around the United States to speak to
federal, state, and local law enforcement, military, universities and national
service organizations. In addition, he owns and manages a multi-million
dollar real estate investment firm in Texas.
